We stayed in this area to conveniently explore the North unit of TR Natl Park. The room was large and comfortable. The price was very good, especially compared to Medora. Areas to improve; no working light in the walk-in shower, and more breakfast options.

I still can’t get over the incredible value we received. Our room was very affordable, the property was very nice and clean, and the pool was great. To say this was a pleasant surprise is an understatement. I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else should we ever return to Watford City.

The bathroom was set up very wonky. Bathroom door needed to be shut all the way in order to use the sink, refrigerator and coffee maker. The shower is like a tiny enclosed closet and the light in shower was burnt out along with the area on 3rd floor by ice maker. I reported it to staff in the morning and it still had not been replaced by the next morning. Breakfast the first morning was sausages and potatoes, along with cereal, toast, bagels and waffles. No other proteins or fruit. The second morning was potatoes and French toast sticks along with the usual carb breakfast foods. No protein and no fruit. Staff was friendly.

The hotel was clean, and breakfast was good. Only complaint: There was hardly ever staff at the front desk. There was a walkie talkie on the counter that you were supposed to use to contact them but it still took forever for someone to come. It may have been on the wrong channel because once a staff member arrived, she was very apologetic and said she couldn't hear anyone calling on the walkie talkie. Apparently the 2 hotels right next to each other are owned by the same property and she was helping over at the other building. Seems to me they need more staff.
