Charming home with stunning lake views!

This charming house has wonderful sweeping views of Seneca Lake! A 10 minute convenient walk along the lake to downtown Watkins Glen restaurants, bars, shops and other destinations.
The house has a sitting room, a living room with You Tube TV, and games, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. We can sleep 5 comfortably and 8 MAX.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a full sized bed in each.
Downstairs there is one large bedroom with a queen size bed AND two twin beds that includes its own bathroom. We call that the bunk room! This house is great for families or groups looking to enjoy the lake and wineries in the area, explore the Village, the Watkins Glen State Park, the plentiful hiking, beautiful waterfalls or Watkins Glen International Race Track.

Spend the days exploring the beautiful finger lakes and then relax on the outdoor deck with a glass of wine overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake after a busy day!
Ample parking with a driveway that can accommodate 4-5 cars.
We can forward all kinds of info to you via this app upon request and will have a information available to you including suggestions for many of the areas points of interests. (Restaurants, Wineries, Bars, Water activities and short road trips).
We have enjoyed eight seasons as vacation rental owners and look forward to hosting visitors this 2025 season at Green Point Getaway!
Julie and Joe. *PLEASE NOTE* after the 2024 season from December to March we will be renovating. We will be upgrading the entryway adding a new front porch, new front door and a new sliding glass door -! Edit: 4/2025 it is complete but we are still working on updating our pictures!

This is a beautiful, charming house with breathtaking views of Lake Seneca. Julie is very organized, clean, and made settling in a breeze for my group. She even provided lots of information about local wineries and other things to do. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio while taking in the views. The house is very close to downtown, and we were able to walk there for dinner. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful Property and Excellent Stay

Another Amazing Stay

I have stayed at Julie's place several times and each time it is perfect! I highly recommend this house. It is a great location to explore Watkins Glen and the surrounding wineries. Julie's hospitality is wonderful, the beds are comfortable and she has thought of all the little details to make your time at the house enjoyable.

Perfect spot for us!

We couldn't have had a more perfect stay at this charming property. We were in town for a bachelorette wine tasting weekend (a group of 7 women). There was plenty of room for all of us and we appreciated all of the special touches. We all said that we would stay there again!

The property has a beautiful view of the lake and a wonderful outdoor table and a fire pit with chairs. There is also a ton of info on things to do in the area and signs everywhere in the house to help you find things. A really wonderful house and an amazing host. We definitely plan on staying here again!

This home is absolutely lovely! The location is great -- beautiful view of Seneca Lake, lots of outdoor space with a deck, hammock, and fire pit. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood, and Julie the owner, keeps the property meticulous. Home is stocked with everything you might expect and even things you wouldn't expect. Julie also went above and beyond to provide us with helpful hints about attractions, wineries, restaurants and more. We would definitely rent this property again. Green cottage getaways was PERFECTION!!

Relaxing Getaway

The house was very clean and super cute! Julie thought of everything to keep her guests comfortable. She was very quick in responding to questions and had suggestions for her guests well laid out in the home. She even went out of her way to find us an outdoor yoga session at a winery nearby! Amazing Girls Trip!

We had an amazing bachelorette weekend staying at Julie’s home! It had everything to accommodate us and we loved that everything was labeled and easy to use! We loved the view and sitting by the fire pit and having fun conversations about marriage and advice! The location was awesome and so close to downtown, super convenient! The beds were super comfy and we all loved the look of the upstairs bathroom! Definitely would come stay again at Julie’s home! Truly a special place!

Perfect Location & Beautiful View!

We were on a "Girl's Weekend" and found this beautiful home right on Seneca Lake. The view was perfect from the house and everything was clean. Julie was very helpful with all of her recommendations for everything in the area. The house was so inviting. Being able to walk to town was nice and the location to visit the wineries/breweries was perfection. Thank you! Hope to stay here again in the future!

Girls Weekend

Julie the host prior to our stay was fantastic with giving me information about wineries and transportation for around lake Seneca! All of her recommendations were right on and we had a fun time on our wine tour! The house was super clean and Julie had everything labeled clearly and had great directions for the house. The view was incredible of the lake and the house set up worked out great for all of us. The sheets and beds were very comfortable and the location of the house was very convenient! I will definitely want to stay again and recommending this place to friends and family! Thanks for a great stay!!

Everything it said it would be

This house was amazing. Julie the owner had everything plus some that any group of women would need on a trip! The house was absolutely perfect, clean and close to everything. The pictures were absolutely spot on. Julie had everything labeled and organized; it was just perfect! We were comfortable, and happy the entire stay. It was so nice not having to pack necessities like toilet paper, shampoo, towels, and even coffee; she had it all. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Property

Julie was extremely helpful and organized when I was planning our girls trip. She gave countless suggestions for activities! When we arrived, everything was labeled and clean. There were lists of suggestions in the home for drivers and activities to do while staying. One of my favorite parts of this house was waking up in the morning to a beautiful lake view. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I would love to visit again! I appreciate all the help and tips from Julie. I definitely recommend this beautiful home and location for a vacation.
