"We traveled for the Oshkosh Air Show. Accommodations in the area were at a premium. The location and price worked for us. The property includes some older buildings that appear to have monthly rentals. The main building itself was fine. We had a few problems in our room. When staff was contacted the issues were resolved immediately."

"This is a newly completely renovated cabin which is very nicely decorated and well appointed. The hosts have furnished the cabin with everything you could need for your stay. We did have an issue with the outdoor grill and the host was over in a matter of minutes to help us with it. The natural setting it is in is very relaxing. The deck is furnished with very comfortable chairs with cup and phone holders. Deer frequently wander through, and squirrels and chipmunks scamper through the trees. Taylor Lake boat launch is 1/4 mile from the cabin. This is a great location to the town of Waupaca and many outstanding restaurants that surround the Chain of Lakes. We hope to make this cabin an annual destination for us when we come to the Waupaca area."

"We had an incredible stay at Hickory Hills on Long Lake with our group. We highly recommend this stay! The cottage is conveniently located- a quick trip to Waupaca for all the cute shops and for groceries. The rental company and owner were very responsive to questions. Check in and check out were seamless. The cottage was spacious with plenty of parking for our group of 10 (aged 18-50s) It was quiet and private and well appointed. Long Lake is one of the clearest lakes we have ever stayed on- we thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, pontooning, paddle-boarding and swimming. We saw deer, eagles, loons, a muskrat, turtles and fish! We did rent the pontoon from the owner which was also fun. There were jet skis and water skiers and boats pulling tubes on the lake- all very respectful and obeyed rules for wake times.The MVP was the awesome huge deck with the view! It is a little steep to the water, but has trex stairs with a railing. The deck and fire pit had plenty of seating for our whole group. The stairs and deck did get a little hot- so watch bare feet and paws.The beds and bedding were all comfortable (Loved the king beds). The master shower was very nice- plenty of towels and TP! They even had extra beach towels.The kitchen was we’ll equipped. (Plenty of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets and garbage bags for our stay). The hot tub was big and very clean- loved by the young adults. We loved our stay and highly recommend!"
