An incredible property, brand new, a wonderful ambience and a great restaurant on site. If you want to stay in the true castle in Germany, this is the place to make a stop over. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and the included breakfast in the morning was delightful . We will gladly come back another time.

Schloss Frankenberg was the first stop on an 8-person family tour of Germany. It was a little palatial paradise - even in the extraordinary heat wave that had set in. The staff thoughtfully placed us in air conditioned rooms and provided us with waters and extra helping hands to get our luggage and people to where they needed to go. Each morning, we had an incredible breakfast in the ballroom with delightful, and patient, service. With three kids under 12 with us, this was especially appreciated! The children had a great time exploring the castle's dungeon walkways, the grounds, and looking at all of the artifacts. Truly, a gem hiding out in Weigenheim, Germany. We would love to return again in the future, if the opportunity presents itself.

This is a stunning property. We stayed in two rooms with our family of four. The castle has amazing views and we felt like royalty when when we arrived and throughout our stay. It is a hidden gem that is centrally located from Wurzburg, Nurenburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauer.

This was such a great experience. My partner and I were the only ones checked in for the night and we were treated with such care and kindness. Our room was lovely, clean, and spacious. The staff was very friendly and did everything to make our stay as great as possible.

Our castle stay was pretty amazing. Very modern rooms and the availability to roam the property made it a great stay. It was also very helpful that the staff spoke English and were so kind. A nice final touch was them sharing a bottle of their wine with us as we departed. A must do!

We were so happy to stay at Schloss Frankenberg for two nights. The staff are all fantastic. Room was beautiful. Restaurant was very delicious. The wine was great too. Perfect. Lovely room, stunning views, great wine, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. We managed to charge our car on one of the two EV points overnight. We would recommend sampling the wine! Beautiful historic building, modernised sympathetically to a very high standard. Thanks!

Schloss Frankenburg was the PERFECT place to start our Bavarian adventure. The castle and grounds are beautiful, the room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Our FAVORITE part was breakfast in the bistro overlooking the Schloß’ vineyard. The staff were amazing and met our every need. FYI- there was not a lift in our section of the hotel so we got to do all the stairs. But the staff helped with our luggage so it wasn’t too bad.

A 1st class stay! And a gorgeous wedding venue?

What a beautiful gem!!! This stay was a last-minute selection. I was looking for a “castle” to stay in and we ended up seemingly being the only ones staying that night. Everything is 1st class, from the rooms to the food. We are definitely returning here on another occasion. I could see a daughter getting married here or a family reunion happening here. Walking trails, restaurant, breakfast included, guided tour of castle (not available on May Day), and views from every angle. The staff couldn’t be nicer. The room was as nice as we’ve ever been in (best shower/bathroom since we started our journey). As a platinum member we received a house bottled “Schloss Frankenberg” Rose.

If you tell AI you want to stay in a castle, it'll mention that there are a few real castles to stay in, and hotels made up to look like a castle. This is the former, and is an amazing property. Authentic, clean, comfortable and quiet. The fine dining option at Le Frankenberg shouldn't be missed. If you want to see some intriguing history in absolute comfort, give it a shot.

Everything about our stay was amazing. We were warmly welcomed and all the staff was all top notch. Dinner was excellent. Our room was impeccable and the property is breathtaking. Breakfast was a highlight and we agreed the bed was the most comfortable out of all the places we stayed in our two week trip. We would love to return and spend more time. Highly recommend!

This is THE BEST place i have ever stayed! The staff made us feel like VIPs from the moment we got there until the time we left. The rooms in the castle are incredible with modern conveniences and an old castle feel! The food and wine at the restaurant was delicious and the views from the restaurant are stunning! 古城ホテルだが、部屋はリノベされていて快適でした。ただ朝食のバイキングの料理に小さな羽虫が舞っていたのが残念。基本蓋がかけてあるのだけど、野菜などは蓋が無いのでやや不快でした。スタッフは気にしてない様子でしたので、こちらも郷に入りましたが。宿泊する城の裏山に、廃墟となっている古城があり。城ファンは興味があると思いますが、立ち入りを規制してあるので、見学には注意が必要です。

Wirklich ein einzigartiges Hotel. Sehr schöne ruhige Lage direkt am Steigerwald. Gute Weine und sehr nettes Personal. Das Zimmer in der Burg war sehr beeindruckend, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt, vielen Dank!

Selve stedet er fantastisk, og det samme kan siges om maden. Fitnessrummet er i slotskælderen, hvilket er en oplevelse i sig selv. Men hvad der gjorde at vi virkelig nød opholdet, er at personalet var utrolig venligt og hjælpsomt. Det gjaldt samtlige mennesker vi mødte. Vi følte os hjemme og velkomne.
