"I had communicated with the management company three separate occasions to confirm that the amenities i.e. fireplace and hot tub were working because previous reviews showed that they were not. I was insured that they would be working. The reason we booked this place was for the amenities as we’re looking forward to gathering around the fire as a family during Thanksgiving. When we arrived, we could not get the hot tub working and there was a note on the fireplaces in fact, both fireplace is saying out of water do not use. I was livid because I had reached out three times and was told these amenities were working. Had I known they were not working? I could’ve made an informed decision about my family‘s vacation. Extremely disappointed. Also, Saturday morning we got up and realized there was no water. It was 7 AM and my wife and I were preparing breakfast for other family members as no one was up yet. Suddenly the water stopped working. I called the management company and they told me that the owner shuts the water off when the occupants are using too much of it. This certainly was not the case as no one was even up yet no one had taken a shower, so we were absolutely flabbergasted to hear this. When my son got up, they attempted to give their 11 month old the bath and we’re not able to do so obviously with no water. We weren’t able to have coffee or wash dishes or the basic necessities. The management company was able to get the water restored several hours later."

"The house was very clean. Very nice kitchen with lots of spices, coffee, tea, sugar etc. available. Great view of the Cove and wild life. Interesting decorations and loved all the windows. We hope to stay again."

"The kitchen is not for gourmet cooks, & it is too bad the dining area does not open to the spectacular view, but the house is roomy, the deck view is gorgeous & you are in a quiet setting, close to downtown Wellfleet. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Nice quiet location in Wellfleet harbor. Enjoyed the sunset views and the tides coming in and out, saw some seals and my baby enjoyed collecting shells on the sand. The home itself is old and vintage for sure which I understand, but needs a deep cleaning and new coats of paint on everything which left the appearance of some areas a bit off-putting and neglected. We did have to bring our own sheets and towels which was fine but did take a lot of space in luggage so be aware of that policy- I guess it’s common in this area though you can rent them from a third party company which was an extra cost. Note that the master bedroom and other two bedrooms are on different floors which is a consideration if you have young children. There was a high chair available which was appreciated. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and had a dishwasher. The host was responsive via text."

"The house is in a great location, minutes to downtown Wellfleet, and a very quiet neighborhood.The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of blankets and towels.There are coolers, beach bag and small beach chairs.The decor is quintessential Cape Cod. The house is homey and perfect for our group of 4 adults. The outdoor shower is wonderful and has a separate dressing area.The oven didn't work and there wasn't a lot of cookware.Overall it was a lovely home and I would stay there again "
