We arrived in the evening and attempted to park in the hotel car park. The shutters were down and we were unable to contact anyone to open the parking facility.
Both the reception and bar were closed and unmanned. After contacting the on-call manager, we were informed we would have to park opposite the hotel in the on-street parking as the car park was full. A number of people had the same issue as my wife and I, so could the hotel perhaps specify when the car park was full?
The hotel is situated on the State Highway, so we had to rejoin the traffic and loop around to park. Our room itself was small, and unfortunately for us was situated above the highway so was quite noisy. The hand dispenser was broken and so the sink and fixtures were covered in hand soap when we arrived.
It was located close to numerous bars and restaurants.
