conscious folks willing to skip a few amenities. It was clean and the staff were quick to answer questions. But the front door did not lock. Two of the plugs in the room and the fan in the bathroom did not work. The breakfast was ok but the room was small with really nowhere to sit.

The location is good for getting around in the Wellington CBD. When I booked it said breakfast included, if there was couldn't find where it was and I wasn't told t check in. The info in the room said in the downstairs cafe area, I only saw a lobby, no breakfast space or cafe. I stayed three nights, didnt seem like my room was attended to my whole stay.

This was my second time staying at U Boutique and I found it to be a no fuss, clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. I think my fave thing about it is the bed! Great mattress, crisp linens, perfect density pillows made for a good nights sleep. Maybe the only issue I encountered was around midnight on one of the nights there were some rowdy guests talking loudly outside my room for a few hours, and I wasn’t sure how to address it. Are there late night staff on site to manage things like this? Otherwise a great place to stay when you need simple but high quality.

Honestly this place was so perfect for us. Both the location and the vibe were so onn! Unfortunately the only let down was that it was a wee bit dirty. The blind next to the bed was like thickk with dust and the spa pool was smelly/slimy and the water was cloudy. Other than that it was like a tiny bit run down but that all could be excused as part of the vibe if only it was that little bit cleaner... in saying that the service was excellent and I almost didn't want to give such honest feedback because they were so nice. To be fair we were here for the location not the spa anyway but it would've been nice if we could've used it without worrying that we might pick up something weird. Also tv did not have a chrome cast so we were stuck watching free tv the whole time which is a small thing but that could be easily remedied

Everything was great! The staff was extremely helpful. One minor suggestion is that the shower in the suite could be designed better. Everytime we took a shower, the whole bathroom would get wet because the curtains don't go all the way to the ground. Otherwise it's a great location and good value!
