This hotel needs a major overhaul and i would suggest an ownership change to get things to proper. The staff is the only gem at this property they are excellent so much so i feel bad leaving a terrible review.
Claimed to have a microwave in my room and didn't and no blanket in the bed nor did they have a continental breakfast. It consisted of cereal and TANG DRINK MIX NOT EVEN ORANGE JUICE. But thanks for the lovely hospitality from the front desk staff.
The old girl is tired. I first stayed at this hotel close to 30 years ago. It was a pleasant family run, southern motor Lodge. The gentleman at the desk was very kind and helpful. The room he assigned me was not cleaned, the bed linens were stripped from the bed and stacked on a chair. The second room was clean enough despite the stained ceiling and cracked toilet tank cover. But I didn’t appreciate that the heater didn’t function very well, the slow running water in the shower never heated up, despite turning the temperature to the max. Some like a hard bed, I do not. Some like fat pillows, I do not. Not a good night, and I won’t be back. I will just hold on to the good memories I had staying here back in the day. And I haven’t been to see what’s in the kitchen in the lobby yet.
Customer service was great! The room was leaking water in the bathroom every time I flush the toilet or take a shower. It had half the floor in the room wet and had a bad smell. Front desk offered another room but it was leaking as well!
This hotel urgently needs new management and a complete remodel. The bathroom has mold, and it’s definitely not suitable for children. We even found skin inside the bed! To make matters worse, the walls are so thin that we could hear people talking loudly through them.
