Baseball and beach

The place was perfect for what we needed. Close to Singer Island and baseball fields. We enjoyed our stay very much.

An absolute VRBO nightmare!

This is long winded but stay with me:First, the host never sent instructions to enter the unit. Our check in time was 4pm and by 5pm we had to call the VRBO help line to gain access because the host was unresponsive on all mediums of communication. There was already someone’s food and clothes in the unit which was concerning. Then, shortly after, another couple showed up and walked in the door using the pass code! The host had double booked the unit! The host had messaged our party as well as the other party earlier in the day so she knew the unit was double booked, not to mention the safety concern of who else had access to the place. We then spent the next 3 hours on the phone with the help center attempting to resolve this issue and they said if we vacated the place they could give us a refund. So it’s 8pm and they expect us to find another place to stay on Presidents’ Day weekend on the beach. At 9pm the host finally replied “did you get in, the code is #####”. She didn’t even acknowledge the issue at hand. It was an awfully managed experience that ruined the night for all of us. Highly reconsider booking with this property. It could save you a headache of a day.

The room was different from the photos. It was small, the host lived in the next room, so there was no privacy. The host had severe mysophobia and kept nagging about not leaving things lying around and keeping things clean. It was extremely rude and unpleasant. I booked for three months but only stayed for three weeks before moving out. A painful memory.
