"The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was mediocre at best. It would also have been nice if the hotel had a restaurant. They gave us a coupon for 15% off dinner but we had to go to a sister hotel to use it and our free drinks coupon because they did not have a restaurant. Disappointing."

"Clean comfortable room with a decent restaurant in a great location. We stayed on the 4th floor and had a semi private balcony and a nice view. There is free limited parking available in the back of the hotel if you can grab a spot. Staff wasn't outright rude but not the friendliest people ..hence the 4 stars"

"The hotel is in an excellent location. Only a few miles from downtown and from the cruise terminal. Free parking g right outside. The only negative was that our room was hot even with the cool weather outside"

"The Alda Hotel was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and someone came by to clean up every day. The hotel breakfast was outstanding- a great way to get ready for a day of adventure!! And the gym and sauna were very nice. We found street parking within a block of the hotel every night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Reykjavik!!"
