"The rooms were very well clean well heated and very cozy. The mountain view and parking was appreciated. It was nice to park right next to the camping pods. It was nice to be able to see the northern lights from the property. "

"Absolutely love this cabin! It's warm, cosy and situated in the most perfect surroundings, away from the roads & no neighbours in sight. It has 360 undisturbed views, we sat in awe watching sunsets there every night. The cabin has everything you need, beds are clean & comfy, all rooms are well ventilated. "Our room was facing the back of the hotel and there's a major construction site that affected our stay. Overall just and ordinary hotel, nothing to brag about.. pricy as everything else in Iceland"

"I had a fantastic stay here and the most impressive part was the wonderful staff here who were all so friendly & helpful. The location is excellent for getting to sight seeing locations around the city centre. The breakfast was excellent with many varied options. The room was clean & very comfortable. I definately recommend this hotel and its also near shops and convenience stores. Well done & thanks! to all the hotel staff & I hope to be back in future. "

"Our 5 and 8 year old loved the Hotel Viking. The Viking themed decor was so well done. Our triple room was large and the bed was comfortable amd very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our other room was smaller but had a lovely view of the harbor. Good breakfast and the turtle pond was a big hit for the kids. Dinner at the place next door was alo very good. "

"Loved our stay here! The breakfast was amazing!!! And the location couldn't better!! The room was spacious and had more space than we needed. It was so nice to have a couch to relax in after walking the sitting. Parking is limited, so if you'd like to reserve a spot, reach out ahead of your stay to ensure you have one if you have a car. I loved not having to worry about finding a spot on the street. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and the room was very quiet and the view was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!!!"
