North Lakes Hotel And Spa

"We had an excellent stay at the North Lakes hotel last weekend! As we were travelling with our toddler, we chose a superior room to allow for more space. The room was clean and appeared to be recently refurbished. The small extra touches such as a full-size fridge, coffee machine and welcome biscuit were welcomed. This hotel is fab for day trips into the Lakes and evenings in the impressive spa and restaurant onsite."

"Short walk from train station. Very well appointed. Clean. Staff helpful and welcoming. Breakfast a bit confusing but we figured it out!!"
Smiths at Gretna Green

"Lovely spacious room, recently redecorated with a beautiful bathroom, couldn’t fault it. Restaurant was reasonably priced and staff were attentive and food was good. The only negative was the traffic noise from the motorway. Next time we will ask for a room on the other side of the hotel."

"The Mary Mount is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location on Derwentwater. The staff at the hotel are brilliant and the customer service is excellent. The food at the hotel is plentiful tasty and well presented. The hotel is looking a little tired in places and could benefit from a lick of paint and some slight modernisation. That being said the rooms are warm clean and comfortable and we would definitely return"

"Can't really fault the hotel, wey better than a premier and slightly cheaper, breakfast was excellent and included good choices, staff very helpful, ample free parking and only a 10 minute + walk in to Carlisle."

"I would definitely stay @ The grange again. Bed & pillows so comfortable. In fact the whole house is just immaculate. Staff are so friendly & helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Thank you Grange to you & your staff. I would say if there was another star I would definitely give you it."
