This Hotel and its friendly staff make you feel really welcome in the most scenic part of Yorkshire, with a steam railway and the delightful fishing town of Whitby and markettown Pickering within easy reach. Buses can bring you to various destination and currently the fare is often only £2,-

From the moment we stepped foot through the door, we were made to feel welcome. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly; the room was tastefully decorated and imaculate; the food, including breakfast, was delicious and the inn is set in an idyllic village with steam train links. Excellent location near beautiful moors and great value for money.

Amazing hotel and staff

What a lovely hotel. Beautiful location. Staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. Even showed us to our room. Our room was perfect. Comfortable and clean with lovely decor. We ate in the hotel for breakfast and in the evening and both were delicious. Excellent choice. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely little property being run by wonderful people, doing a great job. Considering the property is older, it is immaculately clean, the bathrooms are updated and all sheets and towels are new and well cared for. The breakfast was also very nice. I would definitely stay again and hope to for a longer visit next time. Thank you.
