Lovely town with lots to do. A bit crowded with tourists.
Whitby was a charming town. It was one of our favorite places. We got up before sunrise one morning and walk up to the Abby. Even though it was not open yet. We walked around the outer walls and watched the sun come up over the water.
The Abbey is wonderful, e cellent views, the whole area lovely, wonderful friendly people, their acce ts are a trip
Wonderful town, great food at the Magpie, best kippers in the world from fortunes, amazing views
Whitby is a must see destination and we visit every year around Sept/Oct. We have stayed in several B&B's and Hotels and the best was No 7 on The Crescent. We will not stay at The White Horse and Griffin again.
