• Bike rentals are available in the village, though biking in the commercial area of the village is discouraged, as the flow of people and cars can be concentrated. The terrain has many hills, and a mountain bike should be used to traverse such rugged areas.

We traveled to the Upper Valley for a ski weekend and this house was very convenient to Quechee, I-89, and Woodstock. Our son loved the swingset and exploring in the woods! We missed having a dishwasher but there was ample dish drying area provided.
The property was located in a great area; it was close to everything. We even saw a bear in the woods!!! My husband was waiting 67 years to see one. The owner was communicative and the check out process was unbelievably easy
Great house to rent in Quechee! It was nice and quiet in a wooded area. Such a nice area with a lot of little shops and restaurants. Had a nice deck and just wish it was nicer out at night so we could have enjoyed it more. Property owner was easy to deal and communicate with, and the check-in/out process was a breeze.
We liked the location and cleanliness of the property. There were some things that were not optimal. There was a very unpleasant odor in the upstairs (non primary) bedroom - somewhere between sewage and dead rodent. We put a bleach tablet in the toilet to dissolve and then flush but it still didn't seem to take care of it. Also the bed in that bedroom was positioned differently than in the photos of the room. We had 2 adults sleeping in it and it was quite uncomfortable due to the railings on either side - they did not sleep well at all. We do have to say that anytime we contacted the management company, they were very responsive and pleasant. We had wanted a shovel as it had snowed a little bit before we arrived and we were tracking into the kitchen. We finally found a broom in the kitchen and used that for the decks and cars. There really should be a shovel next to that back door - as it is Vermont in the winter :). A fuse also blew in the basement when we were trying to warm it up but we were able to find the electric panel and flip the switch. I think the house is for sale so these next comments are just some constructive thoughts (if it's going to continue to be a rental unit) - if you are interested in any of these, I would be happy to share - I don't have enough space here to do so.
