In the country but not far from town-less than 5 miles fromTyler - the Rose capital of Texas. Cottage is decorated with antiques and family treasures. Sweet place

Small and unique. Quite peaceful and private. If you're looking for "seclusion" this isn't your place but no body bothers you. Close to everything. Cottage is well prepared and very enjoyable. Great for a relaxing getaway which is exactly what we got. Worth the stay!

Cozy and simple

Sweet and simple place. Nearby everything but still secluded away. Would definitely be more private when leaves and foliage is back; not that it wasn’t. Very nice home and the property puppy was very sweet

Enjoyable, relaxing cottage

My mom and I really enjoyed meeting and staying here. The cottage was ultra clean, comfortable and cozy. We will definitely come back for a meet up in the future.

Cute Cottage in the Woods

Very cute and comfortable country in the woods of East Texas. Very quiet too! We enjoyed nearby Lake Tyler State Park and some very good restaurants in nearby Tyler. We definitely enjoyed our time there!

Best Honeymoon Spot

Me and my Husband LOVED our stay! So peaceful and relaxing! It was so cute on the inside and even had some greenery for Christmas! We loved the hot tub as well! Definitely will be coming back again for another stay! We were also gifted some pastries from the host and they were WONDERFUL!!!

Peaceful Concert Retreat

My BFF and I loved the serenity of this little cottage. It is very well done with a lot of heart put into it. We were in town to see CeCe Winans in Concert at Green Acres and the location was perfect. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Celebrating 30th Anniversary

This is a perfect little cottage for a couple, not too far from town, very quite, nestled in the woods, a true East Texas jewel! We highly recommend it, and look forward to staying here again.

We enjoyed the location, we felt like we were in the middle of the nowhere but close to town. The place was quiet, quaint and the property is beautiful. The only downfalls are the bed is not the most comfortable and the hot tub doesn’t have much privacy.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Loved our stay, the hot tub was perfect in 30⁰ temps and shockingly held heat for a while for its size! The cabin stayed nice and warm, the bed and pillows were so comfy, and we enjoyed resting and watching netflix in bed! Cant wait to come back!

Wonderful Cabin

This beautiful, well-appointed cabin offers a lovely view, a great forepit to sit around and a hot tub. The cabin itself was absolutely adorable. They thought of everything with even having towels for the hot tub. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise!

The perfect little getaway

My wife and I stayed at Dogwood Cottage and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect quiet break we needed away from work/our baby and we had a really great time. The cottage was extremely clean and the host was very communicative. It’s in the perfect quiet area but still close to Tyler. We loved it!

Perfect for our Anniversary

We enjoyed our stay here so much! We came to town to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and this cottage was perfect! Such a sweet, peaceful, & well thought out place! We had everything we needed and enjoyed the hot tub. It’s secluded, but close enough to Tyler where we enjoyed a nice dinner. Will be back in the future hopefully!
