"Rough night with fire alarm going off then power went out from 12:30 am until 5:30 am on on one of the coldest nights! Pretty sure others will give a bad review but these are unavoidable issues and the hotel did what they could. Breakfast was still served and I got on my way at 6:30 am to start my day! PS shower was hot too!!"

"We’ve been staying here a couple of times a year for 4 years and love it because the rooms are always fresh and clean, the staff, especially Jim, the manager is always so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast bar( as well as the woman who keeps it clean and keeps the food ready) is great. We feel safe there and it’s quiet. "

"The room was clean, shower was well pressurized (occasionally took a minute to heat up, but soon enough I was preparing for the fires of hell), and the breakfast included eggs and sausage with fresh fruits, cereal and a waffle maker. The cleaning staff was efficient, and the front desk was very helpful. Plenty of storage space. Mattress clean, drawers clean. 3 minute drive to a cute cafe on the way to the mountains- 2/3 triple crown trail heads were 7-10 mins away. Roanoke downtown was about 18 mins away. I don’t travel a lot so I just look for a clean room and basic amenities. "

"Great hotel located on the outskirts of Roanoke. Several restaurants within walking distance and if your a YMCA member, its walkable too. Staff is excellent and no parking issues. Jon, Lily, and I know her name begins with an A made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. "
