"More staff for the restraunt and there were parking issues for building 20 where some we're needing to park on grass and others hindered vehicles coming in or going out."

"Everything was great. The only thing I didnt notice in the description was that the cottage was split into 2 apartments. I thought the entire cottage was a single family place but it worked out bc we didnt have any neighbors. Definitely plan on staying there again."

"Great location on the James River, my room was in a building within walking distance of the marina-great views and food from the Grille, and the pool/fitness center. There was also a nearby breakfast cafe. The fitness center and pool were clean and had some added features that made it more of a spa. Also, great hot tub. I will add that the people I met were all so friendly, felt like I lived there and not like a guest. Will go back!"

"Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was a sweet perk. Parking no issues. Loved the bed and spacious room. Will definitely stay here again."

"We just needed a place to sleep as we arrived late and were leaving early. This was sufficient, nothing extra. Room was clean and bathroom updated with walk in shower."

"We loved everything about this hotel, except we were not aware of the linen situation… our room said it slept 4 but the fold out couch had no blankets & they wouldn’t bring us any. We bought a couple at Walmart, but wish we’d known in advance. Also you cannot get any more towels than are there when you arrive unless you stay 7 nights or more."

"Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast although I think 930 is an early cutoff. The gym has free weights. 5 min drive to Busch Gardens Cons: although clean the property still has a dingy feel to it. There was a noticeably odd smell throughout. Bathroom has no fan. No shelves in shower for soap, etc.."
