"I was just starting out on vacation. A friend I was traveling with drove from Nebraska and we started in the early afternoon, arriving in Liberal about five. I had told my friend about Liberal's annual Pancake Day race and asked the young lady at check-in if she was a longtime Liberal resident, and if so, could she give us more infomation on the race, specifically, if the girls are all Liberal residents.
