Evenings can be spent relaxing under the stars in a private hot tub just outside the back door. With 2 bedrooms 1 bath, Falls Log Home will sleep 4 comfortably. Falls Log Home is only minutes away from the Wimberley town square but offers the seclusion of your own private hill country escape.

Guests will find Falls Log Cabin warm and inviting with rustic hill country decor. This log home offers all the amenities one could wish for or need for a family getaway. Enjoy the beautiful knotty pine ceiling, stately limestone rock wood burning fireplace, hardwood flooring and a fully stocked kitchen with everything one needs to prepare favorite meals. Cozy up on the sofa and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen television or enjoy a romantic evening by the fireplace. Shower in a full bath with a large vanity. Sleep soundly in the master bedroom that hosts a comfy king size bed as well as a queen futon each with lovely linens. Guests will find the second bedroom offers a queen bed with comfortable linens. Great vacation spot!

We loved our stay at The Falls cabin. We had everything that we needed and we were so close to shopping and restaurants. We were a little bummed because the river at the cabin was so low but it was still beautiful. We’d absolutely stay again.

Great weekend getaway

Perfect location, close enough for all the hiking trails and downtown Wimberly, but also far enough away from everything that you felt you had your own private getaway. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day out exploring all that beautiful Wimberly has to do! Loved the wrap around back porch. Wished there was water in the back creek but that is not in their control. But still a nice place to sit outside and relax.

Beautiful cabin and property. We enjoyed the convenience of town being close and realy enjoyed just relaxing in hot tub and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Exactly what we needed to get away for a few days.

Pre Xmas getaway

Really like the location and quiet of the property. Very private. The front door knob was loose, and the inside fireplace grate needs to be replaced. I would also suggest some sort of turn in indicator off of the main road. Perhaps a collection of different headlight reflectors. It is very dark and hard to see where to safely turn off the main road.

Everything was perfect about the location and house and homestead. Only complaint is that the air filter in the bathroom was caked with dust and possibly needed a new air filter other than that it was perfect

Cabin on the Falls

My wife and I needed to get away and this was perfect. Will stay again for in the near future. You may want to look into the numerous little black bugs on the bathroom sink. Also, the toilet runs if you do not take the top off of the sink and pull the chain out from under the flapper. The smell of fresh paint and perhaps some staining reminded me of some work I had just completed on our back deck and home. 👍👍👍👍👍

Almost perfect!

This 'cabin' was fantastic! Very clean, very roomy, EXTREMELY comfortable and had everything we needed and more! Didn't do any cooking but from the looks of it, the cabin had everything! Oh, I could have used some kind of a 'pool net' to get all the pine/leaf debree out of the hot tub, but had no idea where to even look. I could only open one side of the cover because my temporarily disabled sister could not help and I did not expect to be able to get the cover back on by myself, so I only opened one half and still enjoyed it. Management Team (Hill Country Premeir Lodging) was very helpful before our arrival, sending a picture of what the property gate looked like from the road to help me find it, and when I first arrived late afternoon, to help me figure out how the 'door code system' worked, which was entirely my fault and once I had them on the phone I figured it out before they even had to explain, and they were very gracious not laughing at me when I felt like an idiot, lol. Wimberley is a great little hill country getaway with wonderful restaurants /bars and shopping. If anyone is a bird watcher, the area has the BEAUTIFUL Painted Bunting birds.The only thing that would have been better was if my sister didn't have a fractured knee, didn't have to wear leg brace and didn't need a 'walker' to get around so that we could have gone to some of the more natural pools and swimming areas. We will be back and can't imagine staying anywhere else when we do!

Perfect option

We wanted a quiet, private place but also close to town. This perfectly fit the bill. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the creekside location was excellent. Would go back!

Cute 2 bedroom

When we arrived there were towels still in the dryer we got in late so I didn’t attempt to contact property manager until another day also the front porch light was out. The property manager never contacted us. I did receive an automated message. It’s a cute cabin but needs a new hottub, it seemed the temp was messed up on it. There was no clothes washing detergent. I had to go buy some. I’m only being this picky because we have a VRBO rental also and either we/and or the cleaning company provide at least a few laundry pods. Loved the swing and the porch. There is plenty of parking and we even saw 3 does walking around. Would stay here again.

Would not recommend cabin

We are very disappointed in your cabin. Upon arrival, the 2nd bedroom bed was soaked from the air-condition leak in the attic, above that room. We were told you were at the mercy of plumbers on a holiday weekend, then we heard nothing back. We had to strip the whole bed down to the mattress and spend 2 1/2 hours, getting all of the linens washed, dried and back on the bed, as opposed to having a nice dinner out. After bed was remade, we had to push the heavy bed all the way over against the wall to get it out from under the leak. At that point, the water was going to collect on the floor or we'd have to put a pan underneath the leak, which would be right beside the bed. When trying to get out of the bed, either one of those choices would have been a fall hazard. My 71 year old husband pulled the attic ladder down, crawled into the attic, and proceeded fine and fix the leak. Thankfully, he got down safely, this task presenting another fall risk. We tried to settle out granddaughter in the pull out sofa, only to find a bare mattress, and no sheets.

Disappointingly- Not as advertised

There was several issueLet me start out by saying we have never complained about a property as we understand that with the quick turnaround sometimes it's hard to catch everything. However, this cabin was filthy. There's no other way to say it. Upon walking in it smelled like mildew. When we lifted the blinds there were cobwebs and dead bugs all over the windows interior and exterior. The floor had dirt all over it as if it had not been vacuumed or even swept in a very long time. Our socks were actually black after just a few minutes of walking around the cabin. We could not find the towels and later found them in the dryer. They were still a bit warm so they had clearly been washed. However, they smelled as if they had only been washed in water with no soap, or not washed at all and just thrown in the dryer. The headboard in the bedroom had cobwebs all over it, the lamps had cobwebs going from the lamps to the walls and there were big piles of dirt along the walls on the floor. One pile even had some sort of old medication that had clearly been there for a while. We went to H-E-B and picked up cleaning supplies so that we could sterilize everything. Unfortunately it did not help as there was so much black mold on the vents it was blowing into the cabin, nonstop and circulating. Lastly, I completely understand that people go through supplies and can be very wasteful. However, to have paid what we paid for a five day stay and have only three rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, no laundry detergent and very limited supplies at all, seemed a bit unfair to a renter. We did pick up laundry detergent and re-washed all the sheets and the towels. My wife went to sit on a barstool the second day we were there and almost hurt herself because the seat was not attached to the stool itself and flipped up off of the seat. Both my wife and the seat ended up on the floor. We really wanted to believe that either the owner or the management company has not walked through the property in a very long time to see the condition of it. We just could not imagine anyone feeling comfortable enough renting that out in the condition that it is in. When we attempted to put our clothes in the closet, my wife moved a rug that had just been thrown in there in a pile. It stunk horrifically and out crawled a bunch of black spiders, when trying to move it. We killed spiders as many as we could. So much more…

The beds and linens are nice but the overall cleanliness needs improvement. Ceiling a/c vents have dirt/mold/ dust on them. Needs a good deep clean overall. Window sills and edges of floors need cleaning. Also need to replace front door lock. Hard to open. Very private location.

Great Get Away

We had a great time. The house is nice with a great view. This sounds picky, but the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed no matter how hard we tried. We would stay here again.
