Noise at night

There was something loose outside the window of our room and it made a noise all night, so we didn't get any sleep. If you are booked into room 5, check you can't hear anything before going to bed, otherwise you'll be up all night.

酒店地方交通方便，可步行前往巴士及火車站；環境清靜及舒適，房間及被鋪已使用多年，略為舊，尤其是窗簾、床罩及枕頭套，酒店欠早餐供應及24小時服務的人員。 另外，本人入住的房間在酒店大廈外面，房間外面並沒有圍牆，外人可進入房間門外，令入住者擔心安全問題。 除此之外，房間入口的燈損壞，本人已張貼紙張於掛牆電燈位，通知維修，但可惜多日來均無人修理。由於房間之入口地方狹窄，每次均需要在那地方更換皮靴及掛雪褸露，但照明度不足，令入住者感到十分不方便。 此外，服務員之態度良好，但忘記指導非歐洲生活的入住者鎖門時需把門柄向上拉，才可用鎖匙關上門；加上此酒店並沒有服務者24小時當值，入住者聯絡不到酒店員工，令入住者感到非常擔心。

Lovely hotel with excellent service

Me and my partner had a fabulous trip. Man who met us was so helpful and friendly. Room was fantastic clean and plenty of coffee and tea. Overall we had a lovely relaxing visit thanks to all the staff

Our stay at Ravensworth

Stayed here 24th Feb 2020, prompt check in from staff. Great room, definite value for money. Hotel central to all local amenities such as pubs and great places to eat. Will return in the near future.

The location was great, the outside the building looked really nice, parking But our room number 8 ,the room was small and the decor was looking a bit tired,strong smell in bathroom though it looked clean There was a constant banging throuout the night but there was a lot of rain and strong winds, We were disappointed ,though the cost of room was not expensive

お部屋はとても綺麗で、インテリアも可愛らしかったです。 シャワーの位置を固定する部分の締まりが悪く、固定しにくかった点を除けば何も問題ありませんでした。 23時頃の到着予定だった為、あまり遅いと翌朝までチェックイン出来ない可能性があると記載があったので、事前にホテルへその旨メッセージを送っておきました。 受付に人はいませんでしたが、チャイムをならすと暫くして声が聞こえ、お部屋への入り方を教えてくれました。 朝食なしのプランだったのであまりスタッフさんとお話しすることはありませんでしたが、チェックアウトの際とても丁寧に対応してくださいました。

悲しかった滞在

到着したのは12時30分過ぎでした。11時からチェックインできると書いてありましたが。口コミでは家族経営でフレンドリーとありました。が、偏食な娘がスーパー 買った食材をオーブンで温めていたところ、主人がここはプライベートだし、部屋で食うな。と凄い剣幕で罵倒され、食材は温まらないまま、食べることが出来なかったし、娘はショックのあまり、もうイギリスは楽しくないと、泣き出してしまいました。朝も不機嫌でしたし、この部屋には、テッシュペーパーや、電話もありません。夜も寒かった。散々な湖水地方の旅でした。

The guy who greeted me on arrival was really friendly. Showed me to my room which was a nice cozy room. Kettle, tea and coffee in room. Water also available in room. Cute little teddy bear on the bed.

Great Location

A very enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good. Facilities and the lounge areas were good. The room was small and cosy, but we thought this was good value for money for the location and for the time of year booked. Thank you to all the staff at the Ravensworth Hotel

Great Hotel In Great Location

We stayed there from Monday to Friday and had an almost perfect time at the hotel. The first proper morning we had there wasn’t the best because we were visited by room service at 10:30 ish in the morning and as it was our first morning there, we hadn’t been up for long. This happen during the week as well, which wasn’t good as some people have showers in the morning. Other then this it was a lovely hotel with very friendly staff and very helpful as well. We only had the breakfast on our last day and it wasn't the best we e ever had. The English ‘bap’ was fine and was really nice to have and filled me up. However, the scrambled eggs could have been a bit more cooked and less running. 8 out of 10. Would come again if in the area.

Had a few warm days during our stay which was making our room uncomfortably warm. Upon opening the window discovered that the noise from the main road outside was very loud so we had to make a choice between being too hot or tolerate the noise of the road. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant with plentiful parking and warm and friendly staff.

The bed was very lumpy because someone had wet the bed and they had flipped the mattress, it said do not sleep on this side. When we told the owner , he wasn’t very interested, just flipped it back for our next night. We paid for the most expensive room there so we could have a good nights sleep, will never go back there

A small guest house like s bed and breakfast. Staff warm and welcoming Asked if we could drop our luggage early. They accepted with pleasure. We actually found our bags in our room after returning from touring. We declined the breakfast option due to leaving early.
