Cleanliness 5 *.. Room lovely with nice size balcony overlooking lakeside although views limited due to hillside that the hotel overlooks was in full foliage. Breakfast brilliant, and location a few minutes drive from the quayside of Bowness and therefore very quiet at night. Staff very helpful. .

The communal areas in the hotel were lovely and the staff were friendly. The room we were allocated however was very disappointing for the price. We paid £194 for one night with a £20 additional charge for bringing our dog. The room we were given felt cramped and as it was on the ground floor, there was very limited natural light. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not great.

The place is very nice, with good views, and close to the village and lake. My complaint is with relation between the price and the quality of the room, because we were asigned to the 3rd floor with no lifts, and the roof of the room in some areas was low, and I bumped my head twice. And that room was one of the more expensive options.

The hotel was above my expectations. We felt welcome, looked after and everything was just tip top. We had an Occasion room with lake view. The room was spacious and felt newly refurbished. The bed was comfortable, big and linen luxurious. Smart TV was a bonus. Breakfast was very tasty. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We used sauna and pool. Excellent stay!

Couldnt fault it. Last minute ‘get away’ booking as a solo traveller. Room lovely and spotless. Every single staff member warm and friendly. Best hot chocolate i think ive ever had! Pool and sauna an added bonus.
