"Great place to stay"

"The reason why I am not giving an excellent review, is because the dining staff and service were ok, not great."

"Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice."

"This is a terrific location and everything was excellent but for one thing…I had asked before booking if there was access to gluten free meals (this was an important requirement for health reasons) and I was assured this would be no problem. However, the reality was that it really didn’t exist…you really had no meals to choose from. I feel that for a “wellness” place there would be actual meal plans available and placed on the menu."

"Lovely hotel. Great night sleep in a very comfortable bed. About a 20 minute walk to the main centre of the town. Limited facilities available at the hotel after about 7pm. No bar open after this time so had to walk elsewhere to get a drink. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Would stay here again"
