"Even though this hotel does not have a pool, but the grounds are beautiful, flowers and trees, gardens, fish ponds, farm where hotel guests can feed the goats and fish, also the cute rabbit, the hotel grounds are permeated with variety of flower fragrances. But one thing particularly special about this hotel, it is not their beautiful infrastructure, nice restaurants, food and hotel pleasantries, but the hotel staffs, every hotel employee was exceptionally courteous and helpful, each greeted us with sincere smiles, my wife particularly enjoyed not only the large beautiful hotel grounds, but the warm and welcoming hospitality by the entire hotel staff, from managers to the gardener, every detail was well attended to, a 5- star VIP treatment. We thoroughly enjoyed our multi-nights stay at Plataran Bromo. We will certainly recommend this hotel resort to anyone seeking and expecting the highest level of services. Plataran Bromo and its staff, job well done and we sincerely appreciate your hospitality and care."

"We were really impressed by the Jambuluwuk Bromo Resort during our recent stay there. It is a new hotel and the most striking feature is the attention to design and architectural detail throughout the property. Our room was extremely generous in size, and again the choice of colours, finishes and furnishings was tasteful and harmonious. In the reception area and the restaurant, again, the pleasing design was subtly but noticeably present in all respects. We ate all of our meals in the restaurant. The menu was extensive and varied and was reasonably priced. The hotel staff were friendly and very service oriented, especially our housekeeper, Mas Aldo. Although many of the staff were new to the hospitality industry, they were under the competent guidance of Ibu Made and Pa Herman, two experienced hoteliers. We highly recommend a stay at the Jambuluwuk Bromo Resort."

"Hotel Tuga is exceptional. Most importantly, the staff treated us like long lost friends who really mattered to them. The physical surrounds of the hotel and restaurants are incredibly interesting. The pool was terrific as was the massage. Overall, a very hard place to leave after four nights."

"We had a totally satisfactory stay here. The hotel is dated but they clean it well and the staff are very pleasant. The breakfast options were ample and in the local style. We found the bed comfortable and the room quiet considering the bustling central location. A good base foe exploring the area. It’s very close to the heritage area with many great cafes."

"An absolutely perfect stay! The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful, they are genuinely a credit to the business. We (late 30’s couple) stayed in a private ensuite room - it was very clean and had everything you could need. Basic but perfect for our 2 nights. The hostel itself was beautiful. So clean and well manicured. There’s a fridge/cooker etc if needed. The communal areas were really well thought out and the whole place was pretty much silent the whole time we were there. It’s tucked away in a lovely quiet street, a world away from the more chaotic main roads of the city. The location was unbeatable for sightseeing around Malang, everything is walkable and most of the tourist sights are within just minutes of the hostel. The train station is just a few minutes walk or <£1 in a Grab. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough, particularly for the price. The staff made our stay, thank you for the recommendations and for your warmth and hospitality!"
