A large split level property with stunning across Woolacombe Bay
A four bedroom property, sleeping 7/8 people. Newly extended and renovated for 2023, Falbala is a detached split level property situated in a tranquil area of Woolacombe and less than 10 minutes walk to the village. Boasting elevated panoramic views towards Potters Hill, Baggy Point, Woolacombe Beach and Lundy Island, Falbala is the ideal property to wind down and relax. The large front patio/decking area includes a luxury rattan settee, perfect for relaxation and an ideal place to sip your beer or dine Al Fresco. The private drive has parking space for three vehicles.
Brought in May 2014 Falbala has become our dream family home and only for rent for the main school holidays, whilst we travel. You will find Falbala homely, and you will love, as we do, relaxing on the front patio area enjoying Al Fresco dining whilst taking in the fine sea and country views.
The Accommodation. Falbala is a four-bedroom newly extended property and sleeps up to eight people in total. It has two king sized beds, one double and a trundle bed which extends into two single beds. Entering the house at the utility door using the key safe the utility houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, beer/wine fridge and freezer. From the utility take the stairs up to the upper landing where you’ll find the double and single bedrooms, both enjoying countryside view across the rear garden. Off the same landing you will find stairs up to the newly extended on-suite master bedroom, with a luxurious king size bed and far reaching coastal views. Continuing along the upper landing you will access the large spacious kitchen/diner with magnificent, vaulted ceiling and double-glazed patio doors which overlooks National Trust land to the rear of the property. The kitchen is well equipped for entertaining and well-appointed with stylish furniture allowing you to relax whilst entertaining. For those cooler summer’s evenings, there is underfloor heating and a wood burner to snuggle in front of. The kitchen/diner sits as a mezzanine with a glass balustrade looking down onto the lounge, making this property very much open plan living! With southwest aspect views, the lounge boasts fantastic views over the hills, sand dunes and Woolacombe beach. It has a large flat screen TV and comfy sofas. The newly decorated family bathroom has underfloor heating and houses a modern bathroom suite, including a comfortable bath with shower over. There is also an outdoor shower with a privacy screen for those wishing to rinse off after a day on the beach. Coastal walks can be commenced from the house by walking up the road straight into national trust land.

The photos don’t do it justice- the accommodation was very clean, stunning views, perfect for a family holiday and the hosts were very welcoming. Hopefully we’ll be back next summer!

We had a week in this lovely quiet property. Fantastic sea views to the front and a field with Alpacas to the rear. The kitchen was top spec and had everything we needed. Most importantly the beds were all comfortable and we woke rested and ready for the day.
A 10 minute walk takes you directly to the beach or into Woolacombe. There is a great variety of walking also if that floats your boat.
All in all, a super property for a week by the sea.
The photos of the views from the front garden do not do it justice, it’s awesome. A lovely home, perfect location, plenty of facilities and parking - just perfect.

The field immediately behind the garden had alpacas, ponies and rams - so amazingly peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Falbala. A spacious, modern and immaculate property in a good location boasting fabulous views, that suited our party. The outside shower was useful after a day on the beach and frequently used. Our hosts Brett and Sarah were friendly, helpful and very easy to contact.
We had a great week in Woolacombe and it was even better to return to such a lovely space at Falballa. The mezzanine aspect gave the living/dining areas a great feeling of space and openness. The kitchen was well spec'd, although we did little cooking; the dining area and separate living area was fantastic for different members of the family wanting their own space; the garden was a great size (much bigger than the photos show) and we loved watching our animal neighbours through the glass doors.
All in all, we would come back to Woolacombe and come back to Falballa!
We highly recommend staying a Fabala. The house was spacious with fantastic views. It was perfect for all our family We loved having the animals to watch behind the back garden. The beach at Woolacombe was the perfect antidote after the months of lockdown.
This property is fantastic- the pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful inside, and the views from the front and back of the property are stunning. It is well equipped and spacious.
Nice to be within walking distance of Woolacombe but not in the centre.
Very relaxing place to stay, I would recommend this property.

A fabulous holiday house!
The property was spotlessly clean when we arrived with a wonderful view from the front patio over the coastline. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen extremely well equipped. The children enjoyed playing in the back garden and there were toys, games and books in the house in case of bad weather, We would definitely consider returning - as our grandchild summarised it - ‘the best holiday house ever!’

Incredible property with stellar veiws
There can't be many better places to stay in Woolacombe than this? The views over the bay are phenomenal from the living room, sun terrace and master bedroom. The whole house is beautifully appointed and stylish - it has a real luxury home from home feel with every ameniety you could need.
The owners have a couple of children so there is also games and books a plenty to keep little ones entertained and a lovely large garden.
You're only 15 minutes walk across the fields down to Woolacombe - it takes a little longer going back as it's up hill but it's not too difficult.
We can't wait to go back. It's absolutely the perfect holiday let for Woolacombe and North Devon.

Great week in Woolacombe
We have just come back from Woolacombe after a weeks stay at Falbala. We booked at the last moment and there were only a limited number of properties left, but we need not have worried. The house is beautiful and well kitted out with great views over Woolacombe and the beach. There was an excellent pair of binoculars at the main window and we all spent a fair bit of time gazing at everything The bedrooms were fine, great master bedroom ( I mentioned the view already?) and the kids bedrooms were good for our 3 teenagers. Television with loads of movies, WiFi, well kitted out kitchen,and nice back garden.
There is an excellent sitting area in the front but we did not use this much. We did use the loungers in the back garden and the sofa in the conservatory, perfect place for a nice drink with the missus whilst the children watch some movie. We all lay in the garden to watch the meteorite shower on the 13th, and with minimal pollution about it was magical.
The house is half a mile from the beach via the route through the fields, though it is quicker over the roads. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Woolacombe, and Ilfracombe is only 15 minutes away by car if you want. We ended up being on the beach every day - great waves - and otherwise just relaxing away. We loved the house, and found our stay very relaxing.
