"We enjoyed this little retreat. We were lucky on the weather and the mountains were SPECTACULAR for our 2 day visit. But, we also enjoyed the lovely gardens around Raniban. We did have them arrange transportation back and forth to the hotel because of the bumpy last bit of road. "

"The facility is modern and up-to-date. Within a block or two of several excellent restaurants (in addition to the very good dining on site). The staff is friendly and accommodating. In particular we want to acknowledge Amisha at the front desk and Swide in the dining area. "For the price, this was a really good hotel. The views of the lake are great. We really enjoyed the owner and son. Chatting with them is nice. Lots of food options and shopping around. Their restaurant had great BBQ food. AND, pale ale (first I saw in all of Nepal). I recommend a stay. But dont expect a palace...you pay for a good stay. You get it. "
