If you have ever have your head sinking into the pillow of those multi star big chain hotels and you hate that, this is the place for you. Slept like a baby and highly recommend it. "We're 72 year old outdoor lovers and stayed for 17 days in March 2026. Spent nearly every day exploring the trails in the many beautiful State Parks and Sumter Forest nearby and paddling our kayaks on both Lake Keowee and surrounding waters. It was nice to return home to the peaceful surroundings after a day on the trail or water and relax in the hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake. If you're into paddling, at the back of the first finger west of the one the house is on is a quiet and undeveloped 1.5 mile flatwater river that was a relief from the overdeveloped shorelines along the lake. There's also in March 2026 some housebuilding near this house that might prove noisy at times, including the lot next door. "

"Great stay overall. The cabin was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The hot tub was hot and relaxing, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook comfortably. The amenities like the pool and tennis weren’t open for the season during our stay, but everything else made up for it. The host was responsive and easy to work with. "
