See Aurora and lake from EVERY room - 2bd 2bth

8/10 Good
"The property is as it is described. The apartment has ample space and is bright and airy with a lovely view from the balcony. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary appliances and has a nice dining area. The living room is nice but there is only 1 couch- it would have been nice if there was at least a love seat or comfy arm chair but we made do. The beds were comfortable and we had ample towels. There are two bathrooms however one has a tub only and the other a shower so is different than how it is described. The owner was home (upstairs) during our stay however we never heard any noise coming from her apartment. The only downside was the communication with the host after the booking. I had to reach out the day of our stay and request arrival instructions and those that when we did receive them were incorrect as we were given the incorrect property address and incorrect door code! After we were unable to contact the host after numerous attempts we ended up finding the apartment on our own and had to wake up the owner upstairs to let us in. (Thankfully she was home!) We did not hear back from the host until the next day - apparently VRBO messages where not being reliable is what we were told. That next morning there was no hot water - however I guess those things happen and it was fixed that day. The owner did leave us a generous apology gift which we thought was very kind of her!"
