"Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled by the hotel because payment had not been received prior to my check in. When I explained to the employee that this reservation was to be paid upon check in at the property, she asked me to show her proof of this condition on Expedia which I did. While Expedia showed my reservation (that I had for weeks) as active, the employe and the manager refused to listen or attempt to understand. They made false statements which included that the manager called me and that Expedia had sent me an email. Neither happened. At no time did the hotel or Expedia call, text or email in an attempt to confirm payment or indicate that there was a problem with my reservation. The only emails I received were from Expedia reminding me about my reservation and then later asking me how my check in went. It was inconceivable that a hotel wouldn’t attempt to contact a customer before canceling their reservation and then not even let them know it was canceled. The hotel breeched the agreement to have the customer pay at the hotel. I was at the hotel trying to check in at 9:30pm with my young daughter for a volleyball tournament during one of the busiest weekends in the city. The hotel gave my room away and offered NOTHING to help me. I showed the employee my Expedia app which showed the booking as current and active. She couldn’t explain it. Both employees were so incompetent, disrespectful and dishonest. Worst hotel experience ever."

"I stayed here, April 24-26, 2026. Immediately upon entering our room, it was 85° and had a terrible smell. The outside temperature was 40°. I immediately turned on the air conditioner to cool the room down. However, where the air was coming out, it was warm. I thought that was odd, so I opened a window. I then had somewhere to go. I let the front desk know on the way out that the vent was blowing warm air, even though I had it on cool.They explained it was a historic building on a boiler system They have to decide whether or not they will choose to have the AC on or the boiler for heat and since it was 40° out that it would have to be on the boiler. Still did not make sense to why the room was 85°. We got back to the hotel around 11 PM. The window was open 4 hours and the room had gone down to 75. The next morning, we got up early and took advantage of the $8 breakfast. It was very, very good, as well as the service. I dropped of my daughter to where she needed to be and came back to the hotel to relax. When I went to use the restroom, there was an odd hole in the wall. See pics. It resembled a mouse hole. It was behind the bathroom door. I showed the front desk, and the lady at the front desk told me there's no way it was a mouse hole but my daughter told me the previous nite there were hard brown things on her bed and she swiped them off. Eventually we did move rooms and the towels were dirty with black hair all over them."

"For the price, this budget hotel was clean and comfortable. However, the hotel, and especially our room had a really strong, unpleasant smell. I’d describe it as a mix of leftover cooking smells, pet smells and cleaner that tried to mask it. It was unpleasant to the point we had to open the windows and run the fan. Also, the doors seemed to slam so there was a lot of noise from other people coming and going and we could definitely hear our loud next door neighbors. All of that being said, it was very very clean and the beds and bedding were comfortable and the room had all of the needed basic amenities. It was centrally located for us and the area, while near the freeway, felt safe and clean. It felt a bit overpriced for what it was, but there were many many events in town (every hotel was sold out) so maybe it was priced higher than usual."

"This is our go to hotel. The kids really love the water slides and it’s a nice place to stay!"

"The staff were nice, but the overall condition of the hotel was absolute garbage. Super dirty, smells really bad, bed was really hard, pillows had the physical appearance of being at least 10 years old (I have sheets with more fluff than what these pillows had), & didn't even trust sleeping under the covers. Ended up sleeping on top of the covers in fear of being eaten by bed bugs. Virtually zero security measures for this place as anybody can walk in off the street through any access door to the building. Their computer system is apparently just as outdated as the rest of the property because they can see that you booked a room with them through Expedia, but can't process the booking, so they have to manually book you in their way, & then not even be able to give you the room you initially booked. They also ask for your card or cash as a security deposit, even though that's included in your reservations through Expedia. Speaking of being outdated, there's no exterior sign stating it's the hotel you're looking for. It's still physically under the old hotel & casino name "The Vegas" that it was many years prior per the signage outside. Lastly, the pictures provided of the hotel & rooms look nothing like what they have posted, physically MUCH worse. I suggest just spending a little more money per night & stay elsewhere. These hotel rooms are also people's physical longterm addresses that are being used as apartments. Not ideal for short stay travelers. "
