"This place looks like nothing from the road. Probably an farmhouse at one point. They had some nice Christmas lights on the building to cheer it up. They are maybe 5 miles (8 km) west of Vik. The road to town goes up and over, with some switchbacks, so it could be dicey for tourists in the winter if the weather is bad. "This property was incredible and I wish we had booked more than one night here on our trip. We would have liked having one day to just slow down and enjoy the scenery and the calm atmosphere that is The Garage. Anna had fresh baked cookies for us as we arrived and it was just the most wonderful experience.
