The staff was very kind.. especially Alex. As for the rooms, they were not very clean. The toilet had urine on it from the last visitor.. there was hair all over the floor in the bathroom. The pool is very nice, and so is the sauna. All in all it was ok. I’m thinking Shilo Inn may be going out of business. Not much money going into the place for up keep.

Hotel was clean and the room was nice. Overall appearance somewhat dated inside but still good. Only one set of towels in the room however. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We slept well. Very small free breakfast area but as long as coffee was available we were happy!

We were on our way home to Phoenix from San Diego and needed somewhere to rest for a few hours and this was the most affordable hotel that had rooms inside. There was a lot of motel/ motel style hotels in the area and I personally feel safer when the rooms are indoors. The property was clean but extremely dated so it smelt. Service was friendly and quick. Works for a quick stop.

Parking was easy. Our bathtub drained super slow (took a half hour for tub to empty after a shower). Missing remote to tv. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Neighbors had a dog that barked all night. You can’t help that. We were just too exhausted to complain about the dog and the tub. It would help to have a handicap safety bar by the toilet, you have one for the shower. We were so happy for a clean room and comfy bed and friendly staff. A/C was perfect-super quiet.

Lady at the front desk was great! Rooms are kinda old and falling apart. Wallpaper falling off the wall. Loose toilet seat. No drain plug in the shower/bath. The back entrance has a broken door lock, meaning that anybody is welcome to come in. Otherwise, the room was clean.
