Le Petit Charme Inn is a comparatively affordable option if you want to stay in Zermatt. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated and welcome. The building is a little old (with the smallest elevator I have ever ridden in), but it is well maintained.

Very small room. Nice location. Hotel advertises free breakfast but we were yelled at by staff when we tried to take a banana to go for our hike. The woman screamed at my mother and I in front of the entire dining room when she saw me reach for the banana. Beds were terrible and very hard. Would not recommend.

Highly recommend this nice little hotel. The staff are amazing and very welcoming. The location is great, near everything but stop very quiet (apart from some construction nearby during our visit). The view of the Matterhorn from the rooftop terrace is magical.

10 minutes walk to station and close to restaurants & shops. Room was fairly small. Bed linen & bathroom were clean but bedroom furniture needed a dust. Reception not manned after 8pm. This meant one night I felt that I was put in awkward position when I arrived back later in evening to find new arrivals waiting on doorstep who wanted me to let them into building, but I was unsure if I should.

We enjoyed our comfortable room. The location was so convenient for walking. It was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was very nice and adequate for sharing. The rooftop was spectacular. We spent time each evening watching the go down.

Great small hotel in Zermatt. Stayed for one night as travelling around, but Maria was great on desk. Checked us in earlier than normal time.(grateful for that). Slept well during night. Nice breakfast before checking out. Everything we needed. Would stay again.
