"This beautiful little hotel is built around a small courtyard that gives the feeling of a traditional Chinese home, with beautiful old woodwork and lattice bannisters and windows.
The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, and the bathroom is large, with a self-flushing toilet.

"Super great hotel, the service and quality is spectacular. They are very friendly to cyclists, which is amazing to see. They let us put our bicycles in their garage, and did so with a smile. They are very sweet, all of them, the rooms and building are beautiful, and it’s in an excellent location, right near Lijiang old town. They treated us with great care, and the price was excellent. We got excellent recommendations about what local food to try. There’s even some cute cats, and Koi fish in their garden, a fantastic hotel, and I can’t wait to come back. "We had an AMAZING time. We were so pleasantly surprised to learn this hotel is actually owned by the same family for over 100 years. It truly feels like you are staying with family. The Chinese breakfast was excellent (the baba was my favorite) - they also have Western style breakfast. Amy was so helpful in helping us make restaurant reservations, and great recommendations. We even did a free tea tasting and bought a lot of excellent tea. Truly a wonderful time, could not recommend it enough! The room was clean and perfect. The location is excellent as well.
