"We booked this place based on it was a new listing and nice modern furnishings. Maybe we were the unlucky ones but we were welcomed with unswept floors, non-working toliet with a surprise from a previous unsuccessful flush, dead insects, and no hot water. "Paradise within paradise. When my partner and I arrived that was our first impression. Then when we left that impression did not change. Naxos itself is a beautiful rural island and Finikas fits right in as it’s own little private experience on the southern side of the island. With beautiful amenities that compliment its location and the beaches only a few steps away, I don’t know where else we would want to stay upon returning to Naxos in the future"

"Somewhat far from city, but that was nice. Near to grocery, beach and restaurants at the beach. You can walk but takes 15 min. Beautiful views, nice quiet, lovely private balcony. "We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Archon Seaside Retreat. Christos is a great host and showed us the main areas to visit when we first arrived. The rooms are clean, modern and we had a nice view from our balcony. Would definitely recommend renting a car if you stay to make the most of your time in Naxos as the island is very spread out. "

"To start with the owner greeted me and provided me a slice of cake from his wife as a welcome gift, even helped me get my bags down the stairs.which set the toe for the whole visit. Breakfast is delisios and they were very helpful setting up 2 excursion for me. The closest thing to a compkaunt is that their aren't many dinner options near by, but considering the 2 minute walk to beach its a very minor thing."

"I’m so glad that I booked this hotel. It’s so close to the beaches, and to all needed amenities, including bus stops into Chora. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was cute and clean."

"Stayed in the Apartment room with myself and 3 other girls and it was perfect! We were greeted and given a thorough run down of the island and our particular area. There was daily room service for cleaning and replenishing which was a nice bonus. The beach was stunning and only a short walk away. A great variety of restaurants and coffee shops all around. Overall, cannot recommend this property enough - the hospitality was great and our stay was delightful!"

The location in plaka is unbeatable—perfectly situated amidst all the attractions yet offering a peaceful, secluded feel. The breakfast is delicious and thoughtfully prepared.
