A little bit of bar noise from the pub if you are an early to bed type, and you are staying on a main road so there is some traffic noise if you want the window open.
Having said that, we would definitely stay again when in the area. 5 minutes drive into Lewes. The main road isn't walking friendly."

The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "My husband & I had to travel from the other end of the country to visit an elderly relative in the nearby hospital, and needed a reasonably-priced last-minute room for 2 nights. This fitted the bill perfectly, and I knew we'd made the right choice when I spoke to the Manager. What a lovely guy: friendly, honest, helpful, straightforward, and so easy to deal with. Many hotel managers could take a lesson from him.
