"This was our base during our visit to Normandy. Located in a central location to restaurants and shopping, it was a lovely historic hotel. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan - which was great. Staff was courteous and helped with all our questions. Taxis are readily available to get to the train station. Will stay there again should we ever find ourselves in Bayeux. Exactly as described. "

We were in a stand alone house operated by the hotel. The only issue we believe exists, is the need for additional seating in the common area. Such as a large sofa.
The location is a few minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the tapestry. A great home base for Normandy battle sights.

"Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house.
Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors.
Lovely quiet grounds to sit in, fairly easy 20 minute walk into the middle of Bayeux and breakfast plentiful buffet style thing.
I have an EV so perfect for me, arrived with about 40% battery and filled up...

"We had a lovely family room which was very spacious and beautiful, overlooking the garden. The bathroom had a welcomed walk-in shower. The staff was friendly and professional. Pleasant evening-turn downs with a room refresh given. Villa Lara is 1 minute walk from the Tours pick-up, the Cathedral, shops and great restaurants. Highly recommended. "
"Wij vonden het een heel leuk en charmant hotel met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Kamers waren schoon en netjes. Sanitair had, denken wij, net een renovatie gehad, dus ook heel netjes. Prijs - kwaliteit verhouding was prima. Wij zouden hier zeker terug komen. "
"Mooi hotel met eigen parkeergelegenheid. De kamer en badkamer waren heel ruim en schoon. Gegeten in het sterrenrestaurant. Het was op dat moment heerlijk weer, dus lekker buiten kunnen zitten.
Het ontbijt viel een beetje tegen. De eerste ochtend was het wel goed maar tijdens de tweede ochtend werd er slecht aangevuld, terwijl het toen wel druk was met gasten. "
