"Almost don’t want to give it 5 stars out of fear it will be full next time I am in Amsterdam, it’s that great! This is a wonderful, unique and ideally located boutique hotel that is a pure delight. The staff is wonderful, friendly, incredibly nice and helpful. Lots of little touches, like nibbling cookies by the 24 hour coffee, a shelf full of guides on Amsterdam, a little packet of treats on checkout, and so much more. Numerous little local cafes within a block or two in a quiet residential...

"The stay was very beautiful. But the reception service was very bad and I took the tax upon arrival and when checking out the employee claimed that we did not pay and took it again as a result we paid the tax twice and demanded to open the camera and the employee refused"

"Had a great stay overall - our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The sauna and wellness area is beautiful, and the front desk staff was very friendly. The airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes, and there’s a lovely park nearby that's perfect for a walk. A couple of small things to note: there was a pillow menu in the room, but when I called to request one, I never heard back after being told someone would check. Also, there was no staff present in the spa area for the massage services...

"Despite it being a bit off the grid and housekeeping a bit off! I had a wonderful stay! It’s actually situated in an up and coming area, close to Central- by 10-15 min walk! Staff super friendly…( especially Karen who works the 11-7 shift!) and helpful! They immediately addressed my issues! 😊"

"We didn't know what to expect our first time in Amsterdam, but really loved our experience and The Apollofirst Boutique Hotel was the icing on the cake! Maxim and the entire staff are top notch, the hotel is small which I like, and the breakfast/coffee/service were great!! We were there during King's Day and they served complimentary drinks and cake. I hope we make it back to Amsterdam for a river cruise so we can soak up more of the city and renew our friendships with Apollofirst!!!"
