"No lift to upper floor was a bit of a pain for us. It might put us off staying in the Brandon House again. ((We're senior citizens with multiple ailments). The only other complaint is that there was no "comfortable" chair in the room for reading, PC work etc. The straight back chairs provided were not comfortable, more like dining chairs. On the plus side, the food was excellent & the staff were most helpful & friendly. The decor was intriguing & grounds were so interesting. Just put in a lift! "

"We enjoyed our stay. It is a lively part of town, and we were there during the Music Festival. There was some maintenance to be done, and I have privately messaged the owner in hopes it is can be fixed so others do not have the same problem. "

"We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. "
