Though Flamingo might not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Flamingos Golf Club and Nuevo Vallarta Beach.
Very clean, friendly staff, great atmosphere, nice rooms. Good entertainment. They can work on their restaurant system for dinners, You can’t book, so end up lining up for an hour to get seated.

Beautiful resort, absolutely loved the infinity pool. The buffet food was very good as well! We cancelled our dinner reservations pretty much every day because we wanted to stay in the pool for as long as possible and we absolutely didn’t mind the buffet. My only mild disappointment was the beds. ...

Our trip to Nueva Vallarta was pretty uneventful due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The Hard Rock Hotel closed most of their bars and restaurants since so many guests checked out early. Even so, the quality of service did not drop at all.
Love Occidental, have stayed at this property several times and will continue to stay there in the future!
Again, would not recommend due to food, alcohol, and sleeping situation.
