great stay. The staff was amazing. elegant surroundings that harkened back to the turn of the century. Authentic. Simply appointed with old world charm. Past guests from early 1900’s would recognize its charm immediately.

We arrived at 11:00 am and had time to eat Yuba and visit all the temples in the world heritage area. The next morning we hiked up through the beautiful woods to see Shiraito Falls and Shrine Takinoo-inari it was our favorite. Stop at key coffee!
If you are looking to spend a few days in Nikko, buy an unlimited travel pass from Asakusa for ¥4,600. I traveled from Tokyo and the roundtrip itself was already ¥8,300 yen
Wonderful mountains, lakes history!
Nikko was very beautiful! A great escape from the city. Definitely wear some comfortable shoes, everywhere is worth the walk, it’ll just take time to get there on foot
Must see place in Japan
Make sure you dine at the hotel restaurant. The food is very good!
