The actual ski resort areas are pretty so-so but the skiing (even in a bad snow year) and food in the surrounding area is amazing!

Spacious studio room that is a great alternative for those who don’t need the bells and whistles of traditional hotel. No immediate parking onsite however, the designated hotel parking lot is a block away.

Food is very expensive. When going in high season, book dinner reservations in advance for the best places.
Tons of great restaurants and bars. Awesome ski town!
SUPER SNOWY in January so make sure to rent a car with good snow tires! Having our rental car gave us the freedom to explore and be flexible with our ski days where as we would have been limited if we relied on public transportation alone.
