Breakfast was a bit minimal. The first day was the start of the season and the hot water did not work, but staff quickly sorted it out."

"The owners were friendly and helpful, and it was cheap. However, the fact that A/C was NOT included was well hidden in the list of conditions. While Expedia listed the place as "having A/C", you actually have to pay 6-8 Euros extra to actually "use" the A/C. I think it is important for potential future customers to know that yes, the place is cheap and the owners are nice, don't be surprised that you will have to pay extra for A/C."

It was easy to find and very close to the seafront, it has a pretty garden. The host was friendly and helpful. Milatos is a peaceful seaside village reminiscent of Crete 40 years ago, however it has choice of places to eat. We had our best meal in Crete so far at Meraklis Tavern on the waters edge, very good value"

"I went with my friend for a girls holiday. Had a great time, Stonewell is in a great location, near the strip and the beach. This was ideal for us cause it wasn’t on the strip meaning it wasn’t too loud or rowdy at night! The Stonewell bar and restaurant was great, lovely food and amazing, friendly staff! The room itself is nice, you get what you pay for, it’s pretty basic but does the job! The pool was big and clean besides some sand at the bottom, never too busy so always sun beds! Overall...

"Hotellet er det lækreste og flotteste i Malia indre by (dem ved stranden så vi dog ikke nærmere på), og ser meget luksuriøst ud med det store barområde/loungeområde, god musik og hyggelige restaurant-område med VIRKELIG god mad. Vi fandt ud af, at stedet er en attraktion i sig selv på grund af maden og vinen. Værelset vi fik var rimelig standard med dobbeltseng (to enkelte), altan med udsigt over både vand, by og bjerge, tekøkken og lille badeværelset. Badet var i ringe stand, håndholdt bruser...
