"The hotel is OK for a one night stay in order to take the ferry next day. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable enough. Unfortunately it is right next to an oil refinery which polutes the atmosphere. On a very warm night we were unable to leave the window open because of this."

"The hotel itself is nice enough but after a long day's travelling, we were very annoyed to find out that neither the bar nor the restaurant are open in the off-season so rather than an evening relaxing at the hotel, we had to go into the nearest village where we were lucky enough to find a bar where the landlord was willing to cook us a nice but basic meal to go with a few drinks. "This was the worst place we have stayed in 7 weeks of travelling. Tiny room. Double bed against the wall. Bedhead freestanding & moves every time you roll over. Tiny bathroom. No room for cases. In house restaurant closed the 3 nights we stayed. Had to travel 10 kms to find an evening meal. Advertises that it’s 25kms from Bilbao, when it was more like 35km. Extremely noisy from any activity in the passage. Cleaning staff rolling their trolley up & down the passage from a very early hour. Best...
