"Overall you simply could not ever hope for a better view from your Yurt. My family loved staying at the accomodation and enjoyed that we had some privacy and we also had some nice neighbours to socialise with. The thing that sets this apart from other holidays we've had in similar locatikns is the private and very clean bathroom. "

"Jerry our host could not have been more welcoming. The location is amazing, spacious, private, picturesque, wild and rural. We really loved the setting and the walks with incredible views. We had everything we needed in the Yurt for a comfortable stay. The shower bath is massive, the bath overlooks the outdoors, and the bed ensured excellent sleep by all. We will return, and highly recommend to nature lovers."

Mount Edgcumbe House This house was first built in 1553 to be the home of the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe. It was gutted by bombing in 1941 and restored in the late 1950's. In 1971 the house and surrounding estate and gardens were sold to the joint ownership of Cornwall County Council and Plymouth City Council. The gardens surrounding the house are grade 1 listed.
