"Quite a horrible experience. Would have left if hadn't pre paid. Most particularly due to security concerns and because of the outrageous price for what was essentially a room in a hostel full of immigrant families. (Not their fault!) It was decribed on hotels.com in grandiose terms which it did not live up to. No staff spoke english (fairly unusual if you run a hotel in a major city)and seemed bemused someone had booked a room. Or about whether it had been paid for. The room was 3 floors up...

"We had a lovely time at this hotel. The owner is very attentive and enthusiastic about the area, he is a mine of information. Good food, clean rooms, conveniently located for walking the Gran Paradiso."
