"The F1 is an excellent value hotel conveniently located just outside the périphérique intérieur of Paris… close enough to the centre that all but the laziest guests can walk to the Sacré Coeur. Sure the rooms are small by American standards… but not for a Paris or London hotel. And yes… for many rooms the showers and toilets are a short walk away. "The staff is at a real minimal with much of the time at the hotel being self managed. The hotel is popular with contractors, which can mean a lot of vans parked outside. The rooms really lack light as the window is small, without net seriously impairing your privacy, which is tough to deal with in the heat. The area is good however. "

"This is more of a transient workers hostel than a hotel. Toilets & showers are shared which I did not realise on booking. Generally clean but very basic. Uncomfortable going to the shared toilet at night. Not for me, would not chose to use again,"
