"Clean hotel, unfortunately the dining area is far too small when the hotel is busy. Although a dog friendly hotel, you are asked to sit in a specific area and if it's busy, you may have to wait an hour or so, or take breakfast in your room, despite tables being available and the food area being separate from the seating area. "We had a lovely stay in the suite. Once the windows were closed it was super quiet and the bed was very comfy. The room clean and cosy. The hairdryer was broken tho'. The hotel is full of character and so I think its old style decor is part of its charm. Even so a more.modern feel to the bedrooms woulf be a good idea. The secret garden could be stunning and does has some lovely plants however it felt a tad grubby (sticky tables). Sraff amazing. "

"This B&B is close to the city centre, with free parking and a lovely well presented, substantial breakfast in a pretty breakfast room. The lady serving breakfast was friendly ahd welcoming. "Hotel was lovely and central. There was an anime convention on the weekend we were there, which we hadn't been informed about on check in, so we couldn't really spend time in the hotel, and kept getting asked for our pass to enter if we were out. Other than that it was a nice hotel, room was clean and it was very central for exeter tiwn centre."
