"It was quiet, a friendly staff and parking close by, we didn’t have to walk too far. There was a couple of pigeons who were guarding an egg on the ground, and we needed to go up the stairs to get to our room, so every time we would have to deal with them trying to attack us, but they were protecting the egg. So I wouldn’t say we didn’t like it, it was an experience we will never forget. Because we knew we had to deal with the pigeons before going to our room. It’s something we will look back into, and just laugh it out. "

Charming and Cozy

"Conveniently situated within minutes from the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, the property was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house was thoughtfully appointed and its kitchen well equipped. The property host Melissa was very responsive to our texts and fully addressed all of our needs. We had a wonderful stay with a surprise bonus of finding Campbell Hill Bakery, a locals' favorite, nearby!!"

Beautiful and Sooooo relaxing!

"My Wife and I loved everything about this beautiful home. It was so very relaxing to sit and sway in the basket swings on the front porch and watch the desert hues change from the morning sun rise to the evening sunset. Excellent, modern kitchen, very comfortable King bed. I loved the sunrises from the front porch. Neighborhood was very quiet. We will definatley be back next year."

Great for exploration

"The Blue Ox Bungalow is a great starting point for exploration into Joshua Tree National Park. A short, easy drive to the North Entrance. Clean and comfortable lodging, clear communication from the owner and a short walk to the JTNP Visitors Center and other prime Twentynine Palms offerings. The traffic noise didn't wake the kids up and the place was otherwise ideal for our family spring break adventure."
