"The property is very run down and you can tell the locals use ir as a party or long term stay location. Terrible water pressure and water wouldn't stay hot. Beds were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Would never stay here again. We booked this as a rest/recover spot after exploring Joshua Tree and was so very disappointed that we couldn't get the rest we needed to enjoy our trip."

"The staff was helpful, the room was clean, water was hot in the morning, all these are good things. However we arrived late from travel for a Sunday at check in about 4 PM and the in house restaurant apparently is closed on Sunday's and Mondays, so we were out of luck with that regard. Initially told that the next door property had a coffee shop but it was closed also. We didn't use pool or hot tub only because we were passing through, however it looked clean and in good shape. The bed was OK, the AC slightly noisy, so we turned it off. Overall Better than some, not as Good as others, but considering the price we're giving others the choice to decide on their own. Parking and security was Good and FREE."

"After camping at Joshua Tree National Park, we wanted one night at a hotel so we could all shower before flying home. Because we are a family of five, we opted for this over one of the several run-of-the-mill hotels in 29 Palms, and I'm glad we did. The yurt was much more spacious than a hotel room. The yurts are hundreds of feet apart so we did not hear the guests in the other yurts at all. The water in the outdoor shower was warm and the shower comfortable. The toilet was a boat toilet and I didn't love having to pump it after using it because the mechanism is a little stiff and I have some hand issues, but that was a relatively minor thing. Overall, super pleased we stayed here over a traditional mothel/hotel."

"Dale's place is a gem in a garden of gems.Upon arrival, Dale took the time to give us the history of the art and decor in the house, which added to our appreciation and enjoyment. It is conveniently located to Joshua Tree National Park, and there are wonderful hikes right in his backyard. The property is simply amazing. Imagine a swimming pool right in front of Skull Rock!We highly recommend a stay in Villa dei Fiori!"

"Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and well thought out. Breakfast buffet was a great way to start our day trip to Joshua Tree."
