"I loved Valle Escondido Nature Reserve Hotel & Farm. The rooms in the hotel are spacious and had great amenities. The walks around the farm and surrounding area were beautiful. The staff and food were great. I also recommend the guided night tour."

There were so many birds, butterflies and flowers to enjoy. We even saw a sloth in the trees by the parking lot! The room was spacious and very clean. The shower had hot water and great pressure. "Beautiful location! I have slept in jungles on 2 other continents but Arenal Oasis feels so alive and wild! It’s loud here. Not cars, or traffic but the tree frogs, howler monkeys, chirping insects, song birds. That’s sort of the point of this place, but if you need a quiet environment bring ear plugs to sleep! Wild life was everywhere- including many poisonous species. Our kids, 5 & 8 understood not to touch anything, but I would not recommending kids any younger as the jungle surrounds...

"Very beautiful property, very comfortable beds. it is a bit out of the way so you either have to drive to access food and shopping, or are you have to be willing to walk a lot! Although it was called a B&B on the website, there was no breakfast included. That was surprising and disappointing That is my only criticism. Otherwise, it was lovely."
